Several signposted circles had already been laid out in Amersfoort, which were intended to make it accessible for both walkers and runners to take a detour. But the condition and nature of the routes and signage left something to be desired. Track evaluated the routes, and made proposals to modify current routes, provide new signage, and add several new routes. The routes are suitable for both runners and walkers from the neighbourhood. It has also been proposed to interconnect the routes so that a comprehensive network is created over the entire city.

Several routes have since been adapted and constructed.
