The Voorne-Putten Recreation Board has requested insight into the extent to which the current design of the recreational areas is suitable for outdoor sports and exercise by different target groups.

To gain insight into the use of recreational areas for sports and exercise, we analyse this in two ways. On the one hand, we map the route use by means of a GIS analysis of GPS data. In addition to the 'data-driven' analysis of the route use and supply for sports and exercise, we also obtain
information from the actual users of the area. By means of a survey we collect information from a larger group of users about which areas they visit, for how long and why.

This input is used by Urbans Synergy in their recommendations for the recreation board.
